Here are some highlights from an impromptu "Smash the Cake" session on Saturday. Emma is adorable! I am so happy Courtney reached out for this session. Children are so fun to photograph, and Emma was no exception!

I'm a passionate photographer living in the ever-wonderful Wilmington, NC. I took an interest in photography at a young age, although it wasn't my main focus until I reached my mid-twenties. Who knew looking through a viewfinder could be so inspiring? I photograph on instinct, rather than always following the rules.
